PM Modi unveiled a set of commemorative postage stamps dedicated to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The stamps, intricately designed, showcase the essence of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, featuring six distinct components, including the temple itself, Choupai 'Mangal Bhavan Amangal Hari,' a radiant depiction of the sun, the sacred Saryu River, and sculptures from the temple premises.
Notably, each stamp is adorned with a touch of elegance, incorporating a gold leaf of sun rays and the Choupai, adding a majestic touch to the entire miniature sheet.
Accompanying the stamp release is a 48-page book that delves into the global appeal of Lord Ram. The book curates stamps from more than 20 countries, including the United States, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada, and even those issued by international organizations like the United Nations.
This collection aims to underline the universal influence of Lord Ram on diverse societies worldwide. What sets these stamps apart is the incorporation of the 'Panchabhutas’ or the five physical elements, symbolizing the perfect harmony of Panchamahabhutas in Hindu philosophy. The release event emphasized the meticulous design and spiritual significance, contributing to the broader narrative of the Ram Temple's cultural and international importance.
